Hi guys!

I'm having some problems here with the emulators (except the 2010 version) and eclipse platform

First the emulators aren't running, every time that I try to run them, an error message'The application was unable to launch (0xc150002). click ok to close the application' is shown.

And the Eclipse problem is, it's written in the download page that the new version 4.0 BETA have a visual editor, but I didn't find any, even at Open Perspective button or at the menu Window > Show View

I think that those plugins aren't installed, I've tried to install 'em manually, but it didn't work either

I've also tried a reinstallation, with no results...

Below there's a print of Eclipse after SDK installation

Anybody have any idea on what to do with this?

I have the exact same problem with Eclipse. There's absolutely nothing Samsung related in it. If I go to 'New Projects', there's only regular Eclipse stuff (e.g. Java, XML ...). It seems like none of the plugins work.

http://www.samsungdforum.com/Guide/art00113/images/overview-eclipse-editor.jpg <- I found this image in 'Guide -> Eclipse Overview' section. This image shows, that there should be a Samsung Smart TV SDK button in menu on top.

Here's a screenshot of my Eclipse

As you can see, I don't have that button or anything similar to that in my Eclipse.

I have a fresh install of SDK 4.0 beta. I tried to install it on my PC and my laptop. Both have the same issue.

What should I do to fix this problem?

Hi guys,

try opening the [Eclipse] Samsung Smart TV program using right click and selecting 'Execute as Administrator'.

Hello guys, what is the next step? I can't succeed to run the samsung smart tv project into emulator.

Is there any suplimentary confiugurations needed?

I installed samsung sdk and apache on my Windows 7 and created a default project 'Samsung Smart Tv Basic App'. Then when I select 'Samsung Smart Tv SDK -> Run Project in Samsung TV Emulator'  nothing happens.

What I am missing? Does the apache server is used to run into Emulator? Please Help me.

I am updating this message, if there is no any emulatort opens, after 'Run Project Samsung TV Emulator ' pressed it opens the emulator, but the emulator crashes. What does it mean? Something is wrong with my code?

Tagsamsung emulator, run

 Hi,

As per my knowledge, if your 2013 Emulator gets crashed everytime then you need to install the latest graphics driver in your PC. Then this issue will be resolved

Also this error message can sometimes occur in the Windows IDE: 'Incorrect SDK installs path information. Please set correct SDK install path in the 'Preferences' menu'
To solve the error, delete the file c:\sec_sdk.properties'. If you cannot see this file, make sure 'hidden files' are displayed

You can refer the link for more detail on it:

Hope it helps!!
